These social studies lessons will involve
your students in a wide variety of high-interest reproducible
activities that supplement any textbook in grades 7-12. Lessons
on Africa makes it enjoyable and fun to learn about the
geography, culture, and history of Africa. A typical lesson covers a
curriculum topic during an activity for individuals, small groups,
or the entire class.
Lessons on Africa will keep your students excited about
social studies class. There is something interesting, unique, and
different to do everyday. Each of the 75 lessons in this series
usually has three or four activity sheets on reproducible blackline
masters. Make as many copies as you need for your students. Most
lessons can be completed in one or two class periods.
With so many activities to choose from, you will always have a
special lesson ready for tomorrow's class. All of the work preparing
these creative activities has been done for you. Just decide which
lesson you want to use the next day. Lessons on Africa has
five reproducible booklets with fifteen lessons each. Teacher lesson
plans, quizzes, and answer keys are included. Each booklet has
approximately 50-60 blackline masters.
The complete set of five booklets has 259
reproducible pages. Many of the lessons are now being used in
classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards.
