The 150 reproducible lessons in this
series were created to supplement the textbook and make social
studies the favorite class of your students. A typical lesson cove
rs a topic from the United States history curriculum during a
high-interest activity based on the concept of "learning by doing."
Your students will become involved in a wide variety of creative
activities that make learning enjoyable, exciting, challenging, and
fun.
You can use the Lessons on American History program with
any United States history textbook in grades 7-12. Each lesson
usually has four or five activity sheets on reproducible blackline
masters. Just make as many copies as you need for your students.
Most lessons can be completed in one or two periods by individuals,
small groups, or the entire class.
Keep interest high throughout the school year with these social
studies activities. Lessons on American History includes
ten reproducible booklets with fifteen lessons each, and two
booklets with reproducible lesson quizzes and outline maps.
Easy-to-use teacher lesson plans and answer keys are also included.
Each one of the twelve booklets has approximately 50-60 blackline
masters. A complete set of twelve reproducible booklets has 646
masters.
The entire set can also be ordered on CD
in PDF format. Many lessons in the reproducible booklets and on the
CD are now being used in classrooms equipped with interactive
whiteboards.
