This social studies program will involve
your students in a wide variety of high-interest activities that
supplement any United States history textbook in grades 7-12.
Lessons on Recent American History makes it enjoyable and fun
to learn about major events and developments of the post-World War
II era. A typical lesson covers a curriculum topic during a creative
activity for individuals, small groups, or the entire class.
Lessons on Recent American History will keep your students
enthused about social studies class. There is something interesting,
unique, and exciting to do everyday. Each of the 45 lessons in this
series usually has four or five activity sheets on blackline
masters. Make as many copies as you need for your students. Most
lessons can be completed in one or two class periods.
Lessons on Recent American History
has three reproducible booklets, each with fifteen lessons on
blackline masters. Teacher lesson plans, lesson quizzes, and answer
keys are included. Each one of the booklets has between 50 and 60
masters. The set of three reproducible booklets has 172 masters. All
of the work preparing creative lessons has been done for you. Just
choose the lesson you want to use during the next class period, and
enjoy it with your students.
This three-part program can also be
ordered on CD in PDF format. Many lessons in the reproducible
booklets and on the CD are now being used in classrooms equipped
with interactive whiteboards.
